The knobs got so hot you could not turn them off barehanded. Insulation behind the fascia had slumped and one burner box sat crooked. He shimmed and re-packed it. The kit took two weeks to arrive.

The oven lit with a thump loud enough to rattle the door in our old kitchen. Delayed ignition from a partly blocked burner tube, not the control board someone else had blamed. Cleaned and adjusted, and it lights softly.
